Wagamama Discounts & Money Saving Tips

Of all the restaurants to choose from, Wagamama tends to be one of my favourites.

I like the atmosphere, the menu is varied with great veggie options, and the food is always delicious! Is there anything better than a warm, comforting katsu curry at Waga’s on a chilly day? I think not.

If you’re anything like me, you probably want to save a little money where you can on your Wagamama addiction, so I have a few tips and tricks on how to spend less on your next meal.

Wagamama Discounts and Money Saving Tips

1. Airtime Rewards app

The Airtime Rewards app is currently offering 3% cashback on all purchases at Wagamama, both online and in-store.

As well as Wagamama, the Airtime Rewards app can save you money on over 100 different retailers, including Boots, Argos and Greggs.

The app is free to download and such an easy way to save money whilst you shop. Just set it up and the app will do its thing in the background, saving you money on your phone bill, or you can withdraw your earnings as cash. I have earned £99.42 in cashback since downloading this app!

Join Airtime Rewards, and add referral code B4VF9MMU to earn your first 50p bonus to get you started.

2. Exchange Amazon gift cards

There are tons of ways to earn Amazon gift cards, which can be exchanged for restaurant vouchers… including Wagamama!

One of the easiest ways to earn a gift card at the moment is via the TikTok £15 free Amazon gift card promotion. Just set up an account, check in each day for seven days and receive your gift card, to spend on yummy gyozas or bao buns.

There are lots of other apps which allow you to earn amazon vouchers too (such as receipt scanning apps). This list on how to make money via apps on your phone should come in useful if you want to build up your amazon gift card balance.

3. Student Union

Wagamama have their very own student society, known as the Noodle Union.

As part of the union, students have access to freebies, giveaways and more. Last September Wagamama gave away free katsu curry dishes to students signed up to the Noodle Union, so it’s worth taking the time to join! All you need is your student email address to sign up here.

4. Seasonal discounts

Wagamama are always changing up their offers depending on the current season, so it’s worth checking before your next visit for the latest deals.

During January you could save a huge 50% off the vegan menu during Veganuary, and throughout February there was a Palentine’s offer for a free drink.

5. Free green tea

An oldie but a goodie, Wagamama offer free cups of green tea (including refills!) with any food purchases.  Make the most of this if you a green tea fan!

6.  Return your packaging to the bowl bank for a free side

Lastly, Wagamama have launched an eco-friendly initiative, encouraging customers to bring back their take away containers known as their ‘bowl bank’.

In exchange for the return of your take away packaging, which is sent off to be commercially recycled, you’ll receive a free side as a thank you. Sweet! We love to see schemes that help us save money while also saving the planet.
