Several years ago, I was unemployed due to a period of sickness, and during this time I spent hours researching freebies; I had no clue how much free stuff was up for grabs until that point! It really opened my eyes, and made me realise that we often spend money on things that, with a little research, we could get without spending a penny.
Skincare and beauty treatments including facials and massages are often the first to be cut from our budget when times get tough. Although they aren’t necessities, they can give us a well needed boost, and we all deserve a pamper now and then. You could attend one of these appointments as part of a self care day, or book a make up trial for a birthday night out!
If you know where to look you’ll find there are lots of complimentary free treatments available to us; you just need to book in advance and pop along to your nearest beauty counters!

La Mer – Complimentary 15 Minute Facial
Pop into La Mer for a complimentary treatment, from 5 options on their menu: The Hydrated Look, The Lifted Look, The Radiant Look, The Soothing Look and The Diving Discovery
You will also be given a personalised sample to take home, adapted to your skin’s individual needs. La Mer is known to be pricey and is used by lots of celebrities and popstars, so nab that sample if you can!

Clarins – Complementary Treatments including Facials and Massage
Head on down to the Clarins counter or book online, and choose from a relaxing massage or facial, or perhaps a mini make up masterclass!
Clarins currently offer seven complementary treatments: a Hand and Arm Massage, Eye Ritual, Complexion Perfection, Feel-Good Moment, Play with Colours Eyes and Lips, and Steady Ready Glow Facial.

Jo Malone – Complimentary Hand and Arm Massage
Enjoy a free 20 minute indulgent hand and arm massage, while you learn about fragrance and how it can complement your mood, and create a sense of wellbeing.

Charlotte Tilbury – Complimentary Facial or Make Up Masterclass
Charlotte Tilbury offer a range of 15 minute treatments, including a 4 step Glow and Go facial, a make up masterclass where you can learn expert tips for eyes lips or brows, or a session on how to contour.
They are also currently running 30 minute ‘Pillow Talk Service’ sessions, which covers eyes, cheeks and eyes using some of their new products. These sessions are also completely free!

Pop to your nearest Liz Earle counter for a free 15 minute mini treatment, which includes facials, or hand and arm massages.
