We all know Fortnum and Mason isn’t the cheapest, however if you are buying one or two baubles to remind you of your trip to London, or as a souvenir for a loved one, it could be worth it! Even if you aren’t looking to buy, it’s a great store to explore for inspiration and to soak up the festive atmosphere.

Anthropologie is always a winner when it comes to home decor. The folky, clashing colours and patterns, and vintage designs are so eye catching!

These fabric animal ornaments were adorable; I definitely recommend checking out their selection if you want something a little different.

Flying Tiger

The award for the best cheapest Christmas decoration shop in London goes to Flying Tiger this year!

The majority of the ornaments cost just £3, and they have some really quirky designs, including sushi, lobster and croissant baubles, as well as more classic festive designs.

I spotted these on a visit to Westminster Abbey and they are one of the most original Christmas ornaments I’ve ever seen!

As well as Henry, the Westminster shop sells decorations including all the icons London is known for; corgis, Big Ben, black cabs, ‘Mind the Gap’ ornaments and more. Definitely worth a visit (and you don’t need to visit the abbey in order to access the gift shop).

Liberty London

Liberty have several rooms dedicated to Christmas decor, and have every colour or style of bauble you could imagine. Some of the more unusual decor included these Christmas pudding and sprout garlands, and the chihuahua ornament – adorable!

Primark seem to repeatedly up their game when it comes to homeware, and they now have a dedicated Christmas section.

As well as Christmas ornaments, they have candy cane patterned fleece bedding, Christmas tree shaped napkins and even embroidered cushions.

If you are a Disney fan, they have a range of ornaments featuring some of your favourite characters; Stitch, Winnie the Pooh and Jack Skellington and more can be found in Primark.

Christmas Markets

If you are planning to head to any of the London Christmas markets, you will probably stumble across several wooden shelters selling Christmas ornaments.

I have spotted a stall at Winter by the River by London Bridge, and have also seen the decorations at the Southbank Christmas market, so keep your eyes peeled!

It’s great to support small businesses by purchasing ornaments from designers and makers at craft markets too.
